Cadups
Cadup is a passive fishing gear, ideal for octopuses. This device consists of a plastic or clay pot tied to a rope, which is placed on the seabed. Octopus look for holes to make a lair and the cadup is the ideal recipient for letting octopus in and keeping them there. The fisherman just has to reel in the gear.
